Description and notable features

The Rose Knights’ chapterhouse sits on a crag above the village, half fortress, half reliquary. Stained glass gleams from every arch. Inside, knights speak in hushed whispers.

Visitors are not welcome, but tolerated. The knights’ own quarters are meager: each keeps a sparse chamber.

In The Rite of the Rose, Calienne’s quarters hold two clues: a partially burned letter addressed to Vesna, and a blackened flower pressed into a scripture book with a note signed by the witch Breyth. Dame Marwen’s quarters yield nothing. Ser Damyir challenges one character to a duel in the hall.
