The Rose Knights of Auriel’s Gate, an order in sparkling silver plate whose glamour inspires trust wherever they ride. A D&D 5e faction from Irydale.

Beliefs and goals

Adorned in sparkling silver plate, the majestic Rose Knights are a beacon of valiance and charm. Each knight carries an air of otherworldly beauty, their garb and complexion unfailingly pristine. Their glamour brings with it an inherent trust from all they meet, a trust they have been known to take advantage of.

The Rose Knights seek to root out all that is ugly and all that is evil, for to them they are one and the same.

History

Every Rose Knight bears a blazing rose embedded at the center of their breastplate: a crystal sphere burning with hypnotic purple flame. By tradition, when a knight dies, their armor is displayed atop the coffin for all to witness. Knights travel to the Shrine of Saint Lyssa to ask her blessing on their roses.

Rose Knights treat characters with low Charisma with ill-concealed condescension, and focus on them first in a fight. Their blazing roses can charm everyone who looks at them; see The Rite of the Rose for their stat block.
